What is DirectAdmin?
DirectAdmin is a control panel used on Linux web-hosting servers. Resource use and interface responsiveness should be tested against installed services, add-ons, account count and server capacity.
Three-tier account model: Admin (root/server owner), Reseller (package seller), User (end customer). Built natively for the reseller hosting business model.
What does it do?
Low-resource objective: Targets a lean footprint in a minimal installation. Actual RAM/CPU use and safe customer density are established through load testing with the selected services.
Evolution interface: DirectAdmin's modern interface consolidates panel tasks into one management experience. Responsiveness is measured against server load, browser and add-ons.
Hosting components: Domain/subdomain, email, webmail, database, FTP/SFTP, PHP, cron and DNS management are configured where supported by the selected DirectAdmin version and server stack. Webmail and add-on options are confirmed against current DirectAdmin documentation.
Reseller panel: Create reseller packages, set customer quotas, billing integration (WHMCS supported), API access. DirectAdmin's equivalent of WHM.
Let's Encrypt + SSL: Let's Encrypt automation or manual/third-party certificate installation can be planned for supported domain, DNS and server configurations. Scope and renewal behaviour are tested before deployment.
CustomBuild: Manages supported versions of components such as the web server, PHP and MySQL/MariaDB. Version selection is confirmed against security support, application compatibility and the current DirectAdmin matrix.
Why buy DirectAdmin from AIOR?
1) Alternative licensing model. DirectAdmin and cPanel are compared using account capacity, add-on requirements and current licence fees. Prices are confirmed from the product table at order time.
2) An option for small VPS deployments. DirectAdmin can be a leaner choice for light workloads, email use and account concurrency; final sizing follows a capacity assessment.
3) WHMCS provisioning option. When included in service scope, DirectAdmin's WHMCS module is configured and account provisioning/termination flows are tested before production.
4) Controlled component selection with CustomBuild. Required PHP, web-server and database versions are selected to reduce unnecessary services; security updates and application compatibility are tested separately.
5) Planned support and migration. Accounts, email, DNS, databases and add-on compatibility are inventoried before a cPanel-to-DirectAdmin migration. Included scope, timing, validation and rollback plan are documented in the proposal.
