Why SSL/TLS matters for HTTPS
Modern browsers do not mark plain HTTP connections as secure. SSL/TLS encrypts traffic between the client and server and is the foundation of HTTPS. DV, OV or EV is selected according to domain and organisation-validation needs and issuance time. Renewal automation is monitored, with any validation or payment action reported to the customer.
Certificate Types
- DV (Domain Validation): validates control of the domain; issuance depends on the CA and DNS response
- OV (Organization Validation): the CA validates organisation details in addition to domain control
- EV (Extended Validation): extended organisation validation; modern browsers do not show a separate green address bar
- Wildcard: *.yourbrand.com — protects subdomains at the same domain level subject to CA scope
- Multi-Domain (SAN): domains and limits per certificate are confirmed for the selected CA product
