YTS and Vehicle Type-Approval Process Consulting
Pre-assessment, requirements mapping, technical-file planning and application coordination for vehicle manufacture, modification and type-approval work that may fall under AİTM, MARTOY, TORTOY or MOTOY. AIOR is not a public authority, TSE unit, approval body or accredited laboratory; authorisations, signatures, tests and official approvals are provided only by the relevant authorised parties. $599 is an indicative starting amount; binding scope and price are set in writing.
Plans
Subscription, one-time, project or daily billing is stated on each plan card.
- Discovery for the vehicle, work, target market and current document set
- Possible AİTM/MARTOY/TORTOY/MOTOY route and confirmation points
- Requirements matrix covering parties, documents, tests and decision points
- Technical-file gap list and next-stage roadmap
- Confirmation of official sources, authorisations and third-party scopes
- Delivery schedule and meeting count stated in writing
- Subsequent engineering and coordination work is quoted separately
- Official fees, testing and approvals excluded unless expressly stated in writing
AİTM, MARTOY, TORTOY and MOTOY scope
Vehicle category, manufacture or modification type, manufacturer status and target market change the applicable regulation, technical-responsibility, testing, dossier and application route. The headings below are general guidance. Current rules, transitional provisions and competent-authority records are checked against official sources at the start of each project.
- AİTM: national conformity and project routes that may apply to manufacture, modification or assembly of existing vehicles
- MARTOY: type-approval routes for relevant categories of motor vehicles and their trailers
- TORTOY: type-approval routes for agricultural and forestry vehicles
- MOTOY: type-approval routes for L-category two-, three- or four-wheel vehicles
- The correct route cannot be determined from a product name alone; technical classification and competent-authority input may be required
The YTS role and authorisation checks
Whether a YTS role is required, the professional or training conditions, signing authority and engagement model may vary by project type. AIOR identifies these questions in the pre-assessment; a person's YTS status or authority to sign a particular dossier is confirmed only through current credentials, records and competent-authority rules.
Items checked during pre-assessment
- Vehicle category, variants, manufacture/modification nature and intended use
- Roles of the applicant, manufacturer, workshop, technical manager and other parties
- Applicable degree, professional-registration, training, examination, appointment or employment conditions
- Existing technical documents, test reports, drawings and traceability records
- Confirmation of competent authority, technical-service or laboratory route, official fees and schedules
AIOR Engineering & Consulting Scope
- 1. Classification pre-assessment: document the possible regulatory route for the vehicle, work and target market, separating assumptions from points requiring confirmation.
- 2. Requirements matrix: map customer, technical-manager, laboratory/technical-service and authority responsibilities to documents, tests and decision points.
- 3. Technical-file plan: inventory available and missing drawings, calculations, component data, test reports, production-conformity and traceability records, then structure the dossier.
- 4. Test planning and coordination: coordinate quotations or appointments only with laboratories or technical services whose scope has been verified; we do not present their testing as AIOR's own.
- 5. Application preparation: after authorised-party approval, support form, attachment, version and missing-document tracking under the written allocation of duties.
- 6. Technical-review support: track authority or laboratory feedback through change control and organise response material prepared by the customer and authorised specialists.
- 7. COP and traceability readiness: where applicable, produce process, record and audit-readiness checklists; AIOR does not act as auditor or certification body.
- 8. Decision and handover record: track official outcomes, open conditions, revisions and any future renewal or surveillance steps in the project file.
Typical Use Cases
- Identify the applicable route and document set for a vehicle bodywork or modification project
- Build a requirements, testing and technical-file plan for a new vehicle type or variant family
- Prepare classification and application work for an agricultural/forestry or L-category vehicle project
- Track deficiencies raised by an authority or technical service through controlled revisions
- Plan production-conformity and traceability records
- Confirm current conditions and the official application channel for a YTS candidate or proposed technical manager
Why a Quote Stage Matters
The $599 catalogue amount is an indicative starting fee for pre-assessment, not a binding approval package. Vehicle and variant count, existing-document quality, applicable tests, authorised-party capacity and target market all change time and cost. Deliverables, responsibility boundaries, schedule, inclusions and exclusions are stated in writing before payment.
AIOR's role and excluded items
- AIOR is not TSE, a ministry, approval authority, technical service, accredited laboratory or auditor and does not decide on their behalf
- Official application, certificate, training/exam, testing, technical-service, laboratory, notary, translation, travel and similar third-party costs remain the customer's responsibility unless expressly included in writing
- A YTS appointment, signature or technical-responsibility role is not included in the starting package; where needed, a separately documented engagement with a verified authorised person is required
- Physical production-line, workshop, prototype, equipment or vehicle work is included only where expressly quoted
- Application acceptance, exam success, test result, certificate issuance, authority timing or international recognition is not guaranteed
- VAT and other applicable taxes are shown in the order or invoice
