PROJECT STORY
Project overview and scope
We manage hosting, application maintenance, security and business email for Ritim Yönetim, Ritim Online and the CQI and VDA training websites through one technical service.
The work covers taking over existing web and training applications, migrating them from DirectAdmin to cPanel infrastructure and adapting them to the new server environment. The corporate site, Ritim Online customer panel and CQI/VDA training sites are handled together with their PHP applications, databases, files, domain routing, DNS, SSL/TLS and email components. Following migration, maintenance and compatibility work addressed registration, sign-in, cart, orders, training access and contact workflows. Ongoing hosting, security, monitoring, backup coordination and technical support share the same operational process.
Existing training applications needed to work with newer PHP and database versions, web and email services needed correct domain mappings after migration, and the different training websites needed to preserve their shared workflows. Key work areas included version compatibility, missing record fields, invalid content requests, TLS certificate chains and email character encoding. Maintenance proceeded through incremental fixes that took the existing applications and everyday client operations into account.
We first reviewed the relationships between existing applications, databases and domains for the move to cPanel. PHP and database compatibility fixes followed user workflows, alongside application security, sign-in and error-handling maintenance. CloudLinux LVE manages resource limits, while CageFS provides account filesystem isolation. cPanel/WHM supports hosting account and service configuration; LiteSpeed Enterprise serves web requests; Imunify360 supports web application firewall and malware controls. DNS and TLS work is coordinated with email authentication and client settings. Keeping application maintenance and infrastructure operations with one technical team allows requirements to be assessed across the connected sites and services.
DELIVERABLES
Modules completed within the project
- 01System takeover and migration: moving DirectAdmin backups, application files and databases to cPanel while preserving domain and service relationships.
- 02Corporate website maintenance: technical operation of ritimyonetim.com service pages, contact flow and the existing PHP content structure.
- 03Training websites: coordinated maintenance of shared training and customer workflows across ritimonline.com, cqiegitimi.com and vdaegitimi.com.
- 04Ritim Online customer operations: compatibility fixes for registration, sign-in, cart and order workflows in the newer PHP/database environment.
- 05Training workflows: record-field and error-handling adjustments for maintained operations such as training access and starting exams or surveys.
- 06CloudLinux LVE and CageFS: managing CPU, memory and process resources per account and separating application filesystems from other hosting accounts.
- 07cPanel / WHM: managing hosting accounts, domain mappings, PHP environments, databases, email accounts and certificates through supported panel mechanisms.
- 08LiteSpeed Enterprise: serving PHP applications through the web server layer, with application compatibility and performance settings considered together.
- 09Imunify360: integrating web application firewall, malware controls and server security events into technical maintenance.
- 10Application security and error handling: maintenance of user input, sign-in and invalid content requests, with technical error details restricted from visitor-facing output.
- 11Domains, DNS and SSL/TLS: coordinating web and email records, correct site routing, certificate coverage and certificate-chain compatibility checks.
- 12Business email: mailbox and domain-alias management, with SPF, DKIM and DMARC configuration for sender authentication.
- 13Email clients and Turkish characters: technical support for IMAP/SMTP settings, client-specific connection options and UTF-8/MIME message-body encoding compatibility.
- 14Ongoing technical support: coordinating application updates, service monitoring, backups and recovery planning, while assessing new requests alongside the existing training and communications systems.

Platforms and tools used
Delivered scope and continuity
Takeover and infrastructure migration work for the corporate, online training and email services was completed, with recorded maintenance fixes covering application compatibility, customer workflows, certificates and email. Ongoing service consists of technical operations and maintenance as client needs evolve. The work covers migrating and improving existing applications, with hosting security layers managed as part of the same maintenance service.
