What is Cloudflare?
Cloudflare is a global edge network combining services such as CDN, WAF, DDoS mitigation, DNS, Zero Trust and Workers on one platform. Available features vary by the selected Cloudflare plan.
Cacheable content can be served from an appropriate edge location, reducing origin load and network latency. Actual gains are measured against visitor location, content type, cache policy and origin performance.
What does it do?
1) CDN (Content Delivery Network): Caches eligible static content such as CSS, JavaScript and images at edge locations. A cache closer to the visitor can reduce network latency; results are validated with real-user measurements.
2) WAF (Web Application Firewall): Managed rulesets available on the selected Cloudflare plan and application-specific custom rules can be configured. Controls for SQL injection, XSS, RCE and bot traffic reduce risk; available rulesets, actions and coverage depend on the current plan and application testing.
3) DDoS Mitigation: Cloudflare analyses and mitigates volumetric, protocol and application-layer (L3/L4/L7) attacks at the edge for supported traffic. Coverage depends on proxy status, plan, rules and architecture.
4) Managed DNS: Provides central management for Anycast DNS, DNSSEC and common record types. Failover behaviour and health checks are designed separately according to the Cloudflare product and configuration.
5) Page Rules + Cache Strategy: Define which URLs cache for how long, which run without SSL / origin-only, which show development mode — all via custom rules.
6) Analytics + Web Vitals: Traffic, security, bot analytics and Web Analytics coverage vary by Cloudflare product and configuration. Current LCP, INP and CLS metrics are monitored through an eligible real-user measurement setup for Core Web Vitals assessment.
Why buy Cloudflare from AIOR?
1) We handle the setup. Cloudflare panel is powerful but complex. Right cache TTLs, WAF custom rules, page rules, SSL mode (Full/Strict/Flexible differences), bypass rules and origin shield config — all done by AIOR experts. You provide the domain, we configure.
2) Configuration aligned with AIOR infrastructure. Options such as Authenticated Origin Pull, Argo Smart Routing and LiteSpeed cache compatibility are configured together when supported by the plan and origin architecture.
3) Application-specific WAF baseline. Suitable managed and custom rules can be enabled for WordPress, WooCommerce or Magento. Rules are evaluated in observation mode first and tuned for the application to manage false-positive risk.
4) Consolidated billing. Eligible hosting and managed Cloudflare services can be shown together on the AIOR invoice, subject to proposal and tax terms.
5) Monitoring + reporting. The selected management plan states the frequency of traffic, attack and WAF-event reports. Technical requests are accepted 24/7; human response and intervention follow the support plan and incident priority.
