Requirements
- WHMCS 8.0+, PHP 8.1+
- MySQL/MariaDB — the addon creates order and audit tables
- OVHcloud account and API application (https://eu.api.ovh.com/createApp/)
- Outbound HTTPS from your server to eu.api.ovh.com
1. Purchase license
Order from the market page. At checkout enter your WHMCS install domain — the license locks to that domain.
Pricing: annual license $199, setup $299 (one-time), renewal $179/year. First year total $498.
2. OVH API application
- Create an application at https://eu.api.ovh.com/createApp/ with the OVH account owner.
- OVH only shows Application Key and Application Secret — store both securely.
- There is no consumer key on that screen; the addon requests it automatically.
3. Download and upload
- Copy the license key from Client Area → My Licenses (not in the ZIP).
- Download the ZIP from Client Area → Downloads.
- Upload the `aior_ovh` folder to `modules/addons/` under your WHMCS root.
4. Activation and API connect
- Admin → Setup → Addon Modules → AIOR OVH → save Application Key + Secret → Activate.
- Addons → AIOR OVH → Connect OVH API → Request consumer key.
- Open the validation URL with the OVH account owner → Allow / Authorize.
- On Test Connection, /me, /ip, dedicated, VPS and hosting rows should return 200 OK.
5. Product mapping and dry-run
- On Product mapping, confirm eight WHMCS hosting products map to OVH planCodes (configoption1).
- Keep dry-run enabled; place a test order and review Orders + Audit log.
- Before going live, verify EUR→USD rate and markup multiplier.
6. Failover IP PTR (optional)
Failover IP reverse DNS (mail.domain) for mail servers runs via the AIOR DNS addon using the same OVH API credentials.
