Requirements
- WHMCS 8.0+, PHP 8.1+ and ionCube Loader
- MySQL/MariaDB — the addon creates its own audit tables
- PowerDNS + REST API (PowerDNS-Admin or compatible gateway)
- Optional: Cloudflare API token (for CF NS domains)
1. Purchase license
Order from the market page. At checkout enter your WHMCS install domain and server public IPv4 — the license locks to both.
Pricing: first year $439 ($250 setup + $189 annual license), renewal $99/year.
2. Download and upload
- Copy the license key from Client Area → Services → My Licenses (not in the ZIP).
- Download the ionCube-encoded ZIP from Client Area → Downloads.
- Upload the `aior_dns` folder to `modules/addons/` under your WHMCS root.
3. Activation
- Admin → Setup → Addon Modules → AIOR DNS SERVER MANAGER → Configure.
- Fill License Key and Licensed Server Public IP (same IPv4 as checkout).
- Activate → open the panel from Addons; license should validate.
4. Infrastructure configuration (your environment)
The values below are customer-specific — AIOR does not publish them in documentation:
- PowerDNS-Admin API URL and bot API key
- DNS gateway HMAC secret (must match ns1/nginx gateway)
- Ops gateway HMAC secret (separate secret for server update/reboot)
- Cloudflare API token (optional)
Keep Dry Run enabled for the first 24–48 hours; hooks write to audit log without API calls.
5. Panel features
- Dashboard — connectivity summary, parking stats
- Domains — live search, PowerDNS/Cloudflare status, zone provisioning
- DNS — record CRUD, zone picker, infra zone guards
- Servers / Ops — metrics, OS updates, graceful reboot (confirmed)
- Sync — master/slave zone drift checks
- Audit — mod_aior_dns_audit log
- Client area — DNS self-service on domain details
